Ireland will host France at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Saturday 8th March during the penultimate round of the 2025 Six Nations Championship. Ireland claimed a 38-17 bonus-point victory over France during the 2024 Championship. Ireland and France have contested a total of 103 rugby test matches since their first meeting in 1909. France have won 59 of those matches, whilst Ireland have won 37 matches. There have also been seven drawn matches between the two nations. A new event on the running calendar, the Dublin City Half Marathon, will take place next year on Sunday, 30 March. Dublin Marathon organisers, in partnership with Dublin City Council, have come together to stage the race, which will start on O'Connell Street. The course will take runners out of the north of the city and will finish back in the city centre. The route will go through Ballybough, Whitehall, Killester, Howth Road, Raheny, St Anne's Park, Clontarf, Fairview Park and Seville Place.
